FC Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has become embroiled in a new controversy with the president of La Liga, who is a known Real Madrid supporter.

The Catalan giants only managed a draw against Villarreal in La Liga on Sunday evening, courtesy of a late free-kick from Lionel Messi.
Just as in their recent loss to Athletic Bilbao in the Copa del Rey, Barca players were frustrated throughout the match as they felt several decisions went against them.
Pique made his frustrations known after the match, and reportedly yelled in the direction of league president Javier Tebas.
According to the Daily Mail, the Barca defender was seen pointing at Tebas, shouting: "Did you see that? Yes, you, you!"
The Spaniard also attended a press conference after the clash, where he made his displeasure known.
"Today, there were two clear penalties against us that were not given," he said.
Pique was also asked if he feared punishment for his actions.
"I still think exactly the same, and every week I'm proved right."
